How to get in free to the May 10 Technical.ly Developers Conference

Our longstanding “tasting menu” of software building is scheduled for Philly Tech Week presented by Comcast 2023 — and it's for devs from all over.

We first hosted the Technical.ly Developers Conference in spring 2013 to reflect our news coverage. Rather than going deep on a given programming language or framework, we hear from a wide variety of approaches — talks on experimental startups, newly deployed innovative solutions, and enterprise tools operating at massive scale. Call it a “tasting menu” of learning opportunities.

Scan past sessions and you’ll get the sense: mobile authentication processes for ecommerce, machine learning in cybersecurity and startups “betting” on Clojure. We always sneak in a few professional development topics, like the evolution of the individual contributor career pathway.

Each year, our goal is to give experienced technologists a variety of topic options to check in on disciplines they might not otherwise explore, and those newer to the field to explore approaches they might want to invest more time into. The half-day conference returns Wednesday, May 10 as part of Philly Tech Week presented by Comcast 2023, and we’ll take over the offices of HealthVerity, a health tech company with 250 employees and a dynamite view.

For the second year, you can get in free, thanks to support from the City of Philadelphia Department of Commerce’s Most Diverse Tech Hub initiative.

Grab tickets below, and use code “thxphila” for free entry. Otherwise, tickets are $20, which supports Technical.ly’s reporting.

If your company wants to sponsor the event, you still can. Packages begin at $2,500. Drop an email to sales@technical.ly. We’ll close out the day with a good old-fashioned happy hour among friends.
